What Should Be Checked When Installing an Aluminum Stage Truss?
Leave a message
Aluminum stage truss installation should follow the approved project drawing and the instructions for the specific system. The following checklist is a practical overview, not a replacement for project engineering or qualified site supervision.
Check the Drawing and Site
Confirm the structure dimensions, support points, equipment positions and installation sequence. Inspect the ground for level, bearing condition, drainage and obstacles. Outdoor projects must also follow the project-specific anchoring, ballast and wind-management plan.
Inspect Components Before Assembly
Separate components by model and length. Do not use sections with visible deformation, cracks, damaged weld areas or badly worn connection holes. Verify that pins, clips, bolts and other truss accessories match the system.
Assemble Without Forcing Connections
Lay out the structure in the correct orientation and keep connection faces clean. If two sections do not align naturally, stop and check the layout, dimensions and component condition. Forcing a connection can hide an incorrect part or existing deformation.
Control the Lifting Process
Use lifting points and equipment specified for the project. Keep unnecessary personnel away from suspended structures. Lift gradually while monitoring alignment, connections, braces and supports.
Complete the Final Inspection
Before equipment is operated, verify pins and safety clips, bolt condition, tower alignment, braces, bases, ballast or anchors, hoists and cable management. Record any changes from the original plan and have them reviewed.

A careful installation process protects both the equipment and the people working around it. When project conditions change, the structure should be reviewed before work continues.
