An accurate stage truss quotation begins with an accurate project brief. A message that only asks for "a 20-meter stage" does not provide enough information to select the truss, calculate the component list or review the installation method.
The quickest way to receive a useful proposal is to describe the complete structure and its operating environment. This reduces repeated questions and helps both sides compare the same scope of supply.
1. Provide the Main Structure Dimensions
State the required length, width, clear span and overall height. If the project includes a roof, side wings, PA towers, LED supports or a stage platform, mark them separately on a sketch. A hand drawing with dimensions is more useful than a general reference photo without measurements.
2. List the Equipment to Be Supported
Provide the quantity and approximate weight of lighting fixtures, line-array speakers, LED screens, roof coverings, motors and suspended decoration. The position of each load is important because a concentrated load and a uniformly distributed load affect a truss differently.
3. Explain the Venue and Installation Conditions
- Indoor or outdoor use
- Ground condition and available anchoring points
- Expected installation and dismantling schedule
- Available lifting equipment and crew experience
- Local wind, weather and approval requirements

4. Confirm Accessories and Delivery Information
Include the destination port, target delivery date and any required spare connectors. Bases, sleeves, hinges, hoists and other truss accessories should be included in the first component check rather than added after packing.
